The new offices of the DPSA in Pretoria, were requested to be reviewed in terms of Universal Access and the minimum requirements in terms of the SANS 10400 Part S (2011): Facilities for Persons with Disabilities. The building consisted of 10 floors of offices and 6 basement floors, whilst the reporting included three days of interviews with staff and considered various internal and national policies regarding equity and universal access.

The work was conducted with the use of a dedicated and specialized digital application, called the Universal Access App (TM) for which Inclusive Design own the trademark, which allows vast amounts of data to be accurately collected onsite with a corresponding floor plan.

This project was undertaken during the partnership with UDAfrica.
